My artwork is rooted in curiosity about what pulses beneath the surface of our lives. Using mixed media, expressive line, bold colour, and gold, I explore emotion, intention, memory, intuition, connection, and play. Each piece unfolds through listening, experimentation, and trust, allowing meaning to arise. I am drawn to the quiet moments that connect us more deeply to ourselves, one another, and the stories we carry and pass on.
ELIXIRS & LIFE SUPPORT, 2023
These hand-painted elixirs offer remedies for the common ailments of being human. Each bottle suggests its own use and dosage—a collection of cures, sincere and tongue-in-cheek.
Presented on a mirrored surface, this work leans into self-reflection and the idea of as above, so below.
The bottles rest on a pedestal table and carpet, reminding of a grandmother's home, care, and nostalgia. A small piece of the table top has been cut away to reveal gold beneath the surface—a reminder that value, resilience, and beauty often lie hidden beneath time.
Blending familiar with symbolic, this piece asks us to reflect on what medicine we might need at this time.
