My artwork is rooted in curiosity about what pulses beneath the surface of our lives. Using mixed media, expressive line, bold colour, and gold, I explore emotion, intention, memory, intuition, connection, and play. Each piece unfolds through listening, experimentation, and trust, allowing meaning to arise. I am drawn to the quiet moments that connect us more deeply to ourselves, one another, and the stories we carry and pass on.
HIDDEN SECRETS, 2024
Inspired by the decorative tile patterns found in Pakistani truck art, this piece contrasts the traditional vibrancy with black ink laid over a faded motif. This tile sits in front of a black space with sections of light that appear to be peeking through.
Within its detail are traces of universal symbols, obscured identities, and stories hidden in plain sight. Ornamental details become an invitation to pause and look again—toward the layers of mystery waiting to be uncovered.
