My artwork is rooted in curiosity about what pulses beneath the surface of our lives. Using mixed media, expressive line, bold colour, and gold, I explore emotion, intention, memory, intuition, connection, and play. Each piece unfolds through listening, experimentation, and trust, allowing meaning to arise. I am drawn to the quiet moments that connect us more deeply to ourselves, one another, and the stories we carry and pass on.

PANDORA MONSTER, 2022

Traditionally, Pandora's box refers to a source of endless complications—trouble emerging from a single act of curiosity, impulse, or unwise interference. It’s a tale about the consequences of opening what was meant to remain closed.

In this case, coming out of the box is a googly-eyed monster brain: much less threatening than expected. Instead of fear, this leads towards curiosity and silliness.

Sometimes opening the box unleashes chaos. Sometimes it reveals a possibility. And sometimes, what looks frightening at first glance is asking to be seen differently.
