My artwork is rooted in curiosity about what pulses beneath the surface of our lives—the emotions, memories, and invisible connections that shape our experience. Through mixed media, expressive line, bold colour, gold, symbolism, and geometric pattern, I explore how intuition and intention become form. I am drawn to the meeting of structure and spontaneity, the material and the spiritual, and the ways a shape or symbol can hold a story, a feeling, or a sense of connection. Each piece unfolds through listening, experimentation, and trust, leaving room for play and unexpected meaning. My intention is to create moments of recognition and wonder that bring us closer to ourselves, one another, and the stories we carry and pass on.
VIOLET FLAME, 2026
The Violet Flame is a symbol of transformation—a reminder that what feels heavy can be transmuted into wisdom, clarity, and growth. In meditation, once a certain state is reached, this field of violet light becomes visible, inviting possibility—at least in my experience.
Wrapped around the bowl is the phrase: “Each bump is a portal of possibility unfolding.” The pearl resting inside represents the present moment. We can choose what we do from there. A bump can be a magical path.

LIFEFORCE ‘KA’, 2025
Ka is the life force that moves through us—the creative current that animates our body and connects us to something greater than ourselves. It is the pulse beneath desire, imagination, and becoming.
Emerging through love and our connection to the natural world, this energy expands outward, shaping the realities we create. Like a seed reaching toward light, Ka reminds us that creation begins from within.

SPELLING, 2025
The act of sounding out a word or feeling, describing it, and weaving it into being. Around the edges of the piece runs a quiet reminder: “Speak with intention and an echo of interwoven care. Choose those words carefully.”
A meditation on language as both expression and creation. Each word is a thread that shapes the stories, connections, and realities we live within.

ANTIDOTE, 2024
There comes a point in space, when the path forward leads inward—to the places we avoid, try to forget, or hide from ourselves. The stuff that must come up. That needs to be seen. This work reflects that threshold.
What is the gift (in the pain)?
The shadow is not only a place of darkness, but also of discovery and transformation. On the other side of facing what has been hiding is joy, wisdom, and the space where our authentic gifts can come out to play.

TRYING, 2024
This work came from a place of struggle—the feeling of trying to pull myself forward while carrying the weight of exhaustion, expectation, and responsibility. Threads weave through the piece, suggesting entanglement in the attempt to navigate.
It is an act of noticing what it means to care for myself amid the noise—realizing that endlessly trying to change circumstances can become a form of paralysis.
Along the side is the question:
“How if all my boundaries are trashed?”
A reflection on the necessity of limits, self-respect, and the difficult work of recognizing where my energy begins and ends.

ASPECTS OF SELF, 2024
We are not one thing but made up of many aspects—physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual. This work reflects the interconnected nature of these dimensions.

HIDDEN SECRETS, 2024
Inspired by the decorative tile patterns found in Pakistani truck art, this piece contrasts the traditional vibrancy with black ink laid over a faded motif. This tile sits in front of a black space with sections of light that appear to be peeking through.
Within its detail are traces of universal symbols, obscured identities, and stories hidden in plain sight. Ornamental details become an invitation to pause and look again—toward the layers of mystery waiting to be uncovered.

ENERGY EXCHANGE, 2024
Between two people, energy is always in motion. One figure's eyes are closed and peaceful; the other's are visibly open. Between them, waves move back and forth—currents of awareness and exchange.
This work is not a depiction of good or bad, giver or receiver. Instead, it is an exploration of relationships as a dynamic exchange.

STATES OF BEING, 2022
Personal emotional states can feel deeply isolating, yet when we step back, they reveal something profound and universal. This work tells a story of cycles, polarization, and the ongoing discovery of a way through.
At its centre rests the phrase:
“There is a universe inside me.”
Surrounding layers reflect what I perceive as mirrored opposites—polarized thoughts and emotional states that shape our inner landscapes. Polarization brings intensity, contradiction, and many levels of vibration. It is part of the human experience to know both ebb and flow. Through this movement, we change.
The lower left explores feelings of sickness, frustration, anger, despair, confusion, and the sensation of being unable to see the light, while still sensing that something more exists beyond the discomfort.
The upper right points toward another possibility: turning inward, facing oneself honestly, accepting what is present, considering other perspectives, and learning to meet oneself with compassion. In time, comes the realization that we are not the chaos of our thoughts and emotions, but the observer participating in the process. Perfectly imperfect.
This piece is comprised of twenty-five frames. Within spiritual traditions, the number twenty-five is often associated with change, intuition, self-awareness, introspection, wisdom, resilience, and the cyclical nature of growth. Transformation is not easy, particularly when opening to new understandings of self, yet change is still an essential part of the unfurling of us.
